Upshur County Attempted Double Murder-Suicide

Two people are dead and one hospitalized with life-threatening injuries at an attempted double-murder suicide just west of Ore City. Upshur County Deputies responded to a 911 call Sunday night from a woman who said she and her daughter had been shot. They found the daughter dead outside and the wounded woman inside. Deputies then saw a vehicle leaving the scene. He stopped and then fatally shot himself. No names have been released.
