Upshur County Capital Murder Suspects Sister Arrested

The sister of the suspect who allegedly murdered two women in Uphsur County on November 4 has been arrested for allegedly helping her brother escape capture. Thirty-eight-year-old Laquesha Monique McKnight of Longview is charged with hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known fugitive and is being held on $500,000 bond in the Upshur County jail.. Forty-one-year-old Alvin Patrick McKnight remains at large, and is wanted on a warrant for Capital Murder. He’s considered armed and extremely dangerous.
