Upshur County District Clerk Suspended

Upshur County District Clerk Karen Bunn was suspended Thursday after a hearing in front of visiting Judge Jack Carter. Under the parties’ agreement, the county will pay Bunn until her term ends in December. Nicole Hernandez, who won the March primary for the office, has been appointed as the new temporary district clerk.
