On Saturday, November 7, there was a motorcycle crash on Greenhills Road approximately two miles north of Longview in Upshur County. The driver of a 2005 Harley Davidson, Terry Don Briant, 59, of Gilmer, traveled north on Greenhills Rd. when he lost control of the motorcycle in a curve to the right. Briant, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Christus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital – Tyler, where he died on Thursday, November 12. The crash remains under investigation.
