Upshur County Gas Leak Forces Evacuations

Several houses were evacuated Monday after a pipeline ruptured in Upshur County. It happened between Gladewater and Big Sandy, at a location due south of Pritchett. The cause of the rupture has not been determined, but lightning may have been involved. No injuries were reported.
