An Upshur County grand jury has indicted a Gladewater man for Capital Murder for allegedly fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend and one of her sons. Officials arrested 53-year-old Joseph Lee Adkins in March for killing 49-year-old Lisa Moore and her 19-year-old son Dylan in the Union Grove, Gladewater area. Adkins also wounded another of Moore’s sons. The motive was reportedly an ongoing domestic dispute.
