Upshur County Homicide

Upshur County Deputies responded Saturday night to a call near Diana where witnesses said a person was found dead. Upon arrival, they found a body at the location, which appeared the victim of an assault. The investigation is ongoing, and they have not released more details. They are withholding the identity of the victim until they locate the next of kin.
