Upshur County Killer Sentenced

A Northeast Texas man convicted in Upshur County of murder has been sentenced by District Judge Lauren Parish. Randell Jay Phillips, 42, of Big Sandy, received 52 years in prison on his murder conviction, and two years in state jail for burglary.
