Upshur County Man Sentenced For Threatening Officer

An Upshur County man has pleaded guilty to retaliation against a Big Sandy police officer and threatening to kill him. Forty-three-year-old Maurice Hall had been arrested for assault-family violence, and while he was being transported to jail, issued the threats against Officer Dave Morris. Hall was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
