TITUS COUNTY, TX – On Thursday afternoon, Titus County Sheriff’s deputies were contacted by investigators from Upshur County investigating a shooting that happened in their county. Investigators were attempting to locate 30 year old Cookville resident, Steven Seth Rosewell, the alleged shooter.

Reportedly sometime during the previous night or early morning hours, Rosewell had shot a female companion causing life threatening injuries after which Rosewell allegedly drove the victim around several hours before dumping her out in Longview near a hospital parking lot.
