US Attorney For Eastern District Of Texas Appointed

Attorney General William P. Barr has announced the appointment of Stephen J. Cox as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, effective June 1.  He replaces Joseph D. Brown, who abruptly resigned on Tuesday. Cox previously served as Deputy Associate Attorney General and Chief of Staff for the Associate US Attorney General.
