The US Census has released more detailed information from its most recent nationwide population count. The census bureau’ says Caucasions made up 45 percent of the Texas population in 2010, but that number has now dropped to just 39.7 percent. Hispanics are right behind at 39.3% The census showed smaller counties tended to lose population while large counties tended to gain.
