The sooner we get vaccinated against COVID-19, the sooner we can return to a sense of normalcy. Dr. Paul Klotman, resident and CEO of the Baylor College of Medicine, says if we can get 60 to 70 percent of the population vaccinated over the next six months, we’ll start seeing herd immunity by early to mid-summer. He says while Texas isn’t doing as poorly as other parts of the country, we’re in for a few more months of tough times due to the virus’s sheer volume.
