Value Of College Education Questions

A growing number of Americans are questioning the value of going to college. But the nation’s academic leaders say that getting that degree is still a big money-maker. Texas State University President Kelly Damphousse [dam-fizz] says that graduating also affect self-worth. That’s why so many adults go back to get their degrees. The annual survey by the non-partisan think tank New America asked if higher education benefits the country, and only 55 percent said yes.
