On October 31, 2020, a motorcycle crash occurred on VZCR 3502, approximately 3.7 miles northeast of Wills Point in Van Zandt County.
The driver of a 2006 Harley-Davidson FXS motorcycle was traveling north on VZCR 3502 when for an unknown reason, the driver exited a curve in the roadway and laid the bike down on its right side. The driver was not wearing a helmet, and paramedics transported him to Christus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital – Tyler, where he died Sunday, November 08. The driver was Brian David Legrand, 58, of Wills Point. The crash remains under investigation.
