The president of the Van Zandt County Humane Society has been arrested for allegedly stealing 2 blue heeler dogs and selling them in Wisconsin. Sixty-one-year-old Cynthia Durham of Van was arrested by a Van Zandt County constable after she reportedly confessed to stealing the animals, but said she thought they were being neglected. Constable Jesse Ison said the investigation disproved that claim. A Wisconsin woman was also charged in connection with the case.
