Titus County Sheriff’s Investigators located the vehicle and obtained evidence about its involvement in a crime. Unfortunately, we are unable to release certain information because the investigation is still active. We want to thank numerous businesses that took the time to speak with investigators and be on the lookout for the suspect vehicle. Thank you to those who shared our post and the several citizens who contacted us with information.
Public Assistance Needed
On November 26, 2024, in the early morning hours, someone intentionally caused extensive damage to a commercial building located on the 2400 block of FM 2348 North in Mount Pleasant. Titus County Sheriff’s Investigators reviewed the video provided by the building’s owner and know the following information:
A black Nissan 4-door with a low-profile spoiler on the rear deck lid pulled into the business’s parking lot and spent approximately 10 minutes before repositioning several times. The driver intentionally rammed the vehicle up over a sidewalk and into the building, causing damage to both the building and the car. The vehicle immediately left in the vehicle that was still operational.
Investigators have good reason to believe the vehicle is a 2018-24 Nissan Altima. They also have good reason to think that at the time of the collision, the driver was attempting to run over a dog walking along the front of the building. We do not know if they hit the dog.
The front of the suspect’s vehicle should have significant damage distributed across the front grill area. We ask that anyone with any information as to who this vehicle’s owner is please contact the Titus County Sheriff’s Office at (903) 572-6641 and ask to speak with Investigator Wayne Minor or Investigator Craig Brown. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

El 26 de noviembre de 2024, en las primeras horas de la mañana, alguien causó intencionalmente daños extensos a un edificio comercial ubicado en la cuadra 2400 de FM 2348 North en Mount Pleasant. Los investigadores del alguacil del condado de Titus revisaron el video proporcionado por el propietario del edificio y conocen la siguiente información:
Un Nissan negro de 4 puertas con un alerón de perfil bajo en la tapa del maletero trasero se detuvo en el estacionamiento del negocio y pasó aproximadamente 10 minutos antes de cambiar de posición varias veces. El conductor embistió intencionalmente el vehículo sobre una acera y contra el edificio, causando daños tanto al edificio como al automóvil. El vehículo se retiró de inmediato en el vehículo que aún estaba operativo.
Los investigadores tienen buenas razones para creer que el vehículo es un-Nissan Altima 2018-24. También tienen buenas razones para pensar que en el momento de la colisión, el conductor intentaba atropellar a un perro que caminaba por el frente del edificio. No sabemos si golpearon al perro.
La parte delantera del vehículo del sospechoso debe tener daños significativos distribuidos en el área de la parrilla delantera.
