Vehicle Equipment Violation Leads To Drug Charge

A Sulphur Springs woman was arrested on a felony drug charge after a traffic stop by Hopkins County Deputies for a defective tail light. Deputies received permission to search the vehicle and found a substance believed to be THC oil in a vape cigarette. They arrested 54-year-old Donna Lynn Pottorff on two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with bonds totaling $25,000.
