Vigil For Lone Oak Police Chief

A candlelight vigil has been planned for 7pm Friday on the square in Lone Oak for Police Chief Neil Dent who died earlier this week. A memorial service will be held the following morning at ten at the Bull Creek Cowboy Church. Dent was fatally  injured Saturday night when a tree that he was burning, broke in half and fell on him. Dent served as Lone Oak chief for 16 years.
