Voter Registration Deadline

Tuesday, October 10, is the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Texas Constitutional amendment election on November 5. New voter registration is required if there is a change of address. Early voting for Texas voters to decide the fate of the 14 amendments begins on Monday, October 23, and ends on Friday, November 3. Hopkins, Hunt, and Van Zandt county voters will also vote for a new Texas House District 2 State Representative to replace Bryan Slaton, expelled from the house earlier this year.
