VZ County Man Charged With Abuse Of Mother’s Corpse

Van Zandt County charged Douglas Dean Kilburn, 49, with abuse of a corpse. Kilburn allegedly kept his mother’s body in his house for several days after her death. As a result, Deputies arrested him in the Rolling Oaks Community, and Kilburn could face other charges once authorities receive the autopsy results from the mother’s death.
