Watching Tropical System In Gulf

Rain will increase across the Four-State Region from Tuesday to Thursday. By mid-to-late week, there could be a developing flood threat across portions of Deep East Texas into Northern and Northeastern Louisiana. They expect a tropical system to develop across the Northwest Gulf of Mexico and move northward into Louisiana. Flooding appears to be the primary threat if this system develops, but the National Weather Service will continue to monitor the forecast through the next seven days.
