Weaver Cemetery Vandalized

Hopkins County Deputies are investigating the vandalism at the Weaver Cemetery. Dozens of headstones were overturned or damaged and the flag at the Veterans Monument was burned. Hopkins County Sheriff’s Deputies, jail trusties, and the cemetery association members spent Tuesday turning grave markers right side up and repairing those that were broken. Investigators are following up on several leads and numerous rewards for information about the crime have been offered.
