Brahma Baseball makes history! They are playoff-bound for the first time in school history.

When you go to see baseball or softball, you seldom think about the diamond. Sulphur Springs Assistant Coach Bailey Dorner did, but it was the diamond out of her wedding ring on the Mt Pleasant field somewhere. Sulphur Springs defeated Hallsville, and Hallsville’s coaches Kayla Whatley, Sarah Hendrix, Briana Gwinn, and Allison McKinney, stayed after the game and found the lost stone. The Lady Bobcats may have lost the game, but they went the extra mile on sportsmanship. Those from Mt Vernon know Sulphur Springs’ Assistant Coach Bailey as softball Coach Dana Bohlken’s daughter. Hallsville’s coaches are now planning a trip to Murfreesboro.
