The Red River Valley Fair continues today and tomorrow.

The Jenny Burton-Rushin Memorial BBQ Cook-off is tomorrow from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. Proceeds benefit Dylan’s Drivers and Paris P.D./Lamar County Sheriff’s Office. Categories for BBQ are Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ribs, Chicken, and Beans with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place trophy awarded. You must enter in all categories to be considered for Grand Champion.

Oktoberfest in Paris is tomorrow from noon until midnight at the Gibraltar Hotel in downtown Paris. Enjoy food, beverages and great music from Brave Combo and Alpine Village Band. Tickets are available at Olive Paris or Paris Oktoberfest dot com.
