Over 120 high powered drag boats will be in Paris this weekend for the Southern Drag Boat Association races at Lake Crook. Gates open at 7 Saturday morning and the races start at 9. There are also races on Sunday, and a Show and Shine tomorrow night in downtown Paris at the plaza from 6-8 p.m.
The 2nd Annual Brent Wilson Memorial Blood Drive takes place at Washmasters Saturday starting at 9am. There will be live music and food available.
Paris Harley-Davidson is attempting to set a new Guinness World Record Saturday for the biggest continuous motorcycle parade. The current record was set in Greece, and had 2,404 motorcycles. The parade route will begin at Paris Harley and continue to the Choctaw Casino in Grant. All brands of motorcycles are welcome but only Harley’s will count for the world record. The “Bring It Home” parade will benefit the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
