The Lamar County Beekeepers Association invites the general public to join them Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Lamar County Fairgrounds, Building B for their annual fundraising event. The proceeds of the silent auction will set up three students in the beekeeping business.

SNiP has low-cost spay/neuter vouchers available for purchase for Lamar County residents Saturday from 9:00 until noon at the Lamar County Fairgrounds inside the Coliseum Building. We have a vaccine, and microchip clinic, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, which is open to everyone.

Chicota Community Center Vendors Arts and Craft Show coming Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is at the Chicota Community Center 100 CR 35850.
