The Novice Volunteer Fire Department has its annual “All You Can Eat “Chili Supper” Fundraiser Friday from noon to 8:00 pm at the fire station on FM195. There will be a silent auction and a drawing for a hunting rifle with a scope at 8:00 pm. We practice social distancing if you eat at the fire department or get it to go.
The Lamar County Beekeepers Association invites the general public to join them Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Lamar County Fairgrounds, Building B for their annual fundraising event. The proceeds of the silent auction will set up three students in the beekeeping business.
