A benefit for Paris Police Officer Kyle Martin, who is currently battling cancer, will be Saturday (Feb 19) at Paris Junior High School. The “Act of Kindness” event, organized by “Revive Dance & Performing Arts,” will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and feature a chili cook-off, live and silent auction, food trucks, and a dance show. The cook-off will start at mid-day. Those wishing to enter the chili cook-off can contact Joey McCarthy at 903-715-8520.
The Chicota Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Chili Supper this Saturday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Chicota Community Center. There will also be a live auction and door prizes for all ages. Anyone who wishes to donate to the Chicota Volunteer Fire Department’s live auction can contact Shane McDowra at 903-517-7150 or any of its members.
The Innovative Industrial Solutions and Pinnacle Industrial contractors Delta Waterfowl End of Season Extravaganza is Saturday (Feb 19) at Cottonwood Barn. Doors open at 5:30, and dinner is at 7:00. It’s an evening with live and silent auctions, dinner, and prizes. Tickets are available at deltawaterfowl.org.
Auditions for Plaza Follies continue tonight from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Performance dates are Friday through Sunday (Mar 18-20). Come prepared to sing one song of your choice.
