Weekend Paris Events

Look for the Lamar County Humane Association with pets available for adoption in front of the Paris Petco on Saturdays. If you have a pet, you can make arrangements to have them spayed or neutered.

In Paris, the Market Square Farmers Market is open again, with special Winter Mini-Market hours from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm every Saturday. Its local producers & vendors are coming together to provide local products to the community.

Horizon House, the homeless shelter formerly called “New Hope,” desperately needs supplies like toilet paper, large black trash bags, and paper towels. You can drop your items at the United Way office, 2340 Lamar Avenue.

The Student Art Exhibition at Valley of the Caddo Museum & Cultural Center will continue through January 23. Participating schools are North Lamar HS, Chisum HS, and Paris Junior College.
