Wendy’s Accepts Burger King’s Promposal

A pair of fast food chains may have made a love connection after a Burger King in Boston changed its sign to ask Wendy’s to prom. Workers at the Burger King changed the eatery’s sign to a simple proposal “@Wendys, Prom?” The hamburger restaurant posted a photo of the sign to Twitter, where it elicited a response from Wendy’s. “OK, but don’t get handsy and we have to be home by 10:00,” Wendy’s tweeted. The exchange garnered numerous replies from amused Twitter users, and one expression of regret by the official account of Moon Pie snacks that read, “I knew I should’ve asked sooner.”
