What To Do With Solar Eclipse Glasses

There are many leftover eclipse glasses after this week’s celestial event. One group is collecting them so someone can use them again. Andrew Fazekas with Astronomers Without Borders says the glasses will be vetted and then sent to rural areas where the next eclipse is happening. They’re working with teachers in rural communities. The next eclipse is in six months at the southern tip of South America. All of the donation information is on their website.
