The widow of the Dallas police officer killed by Lee Harvey Oswald about 45 minutes after President John F. Kennedy’s assassination has died at the age of 92. According to her son, Marie Tippit, the wife of Officer J.D. Tippit, died at the Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs of pneumonia. She had recently tested positive for COVID-19.
