Winnsboro Man Charged With Assaulting Grandmother

A 25 year old Wood County man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his grandmother. Michael Joe Combs of Winnsboro is charged with assault of an elderly person and interference with an emergency call. He allegedly threw a drink at his grandmother’s head and took her phone when she tried to call authorities.
