Winnsboro Man Jailed In Hopkins County After Stabbing

Hopkins County Deputies responded to a disturbance report on CR 2403 and met with a man stabbed in hand. Further investigation led officers to learn that Christopher Evin Pyron of Winnsboro had been dropped at the residence to gather his belongings, allegedly stabbed the victim with a steak knife, and attempted to stab him in the neck. After an intense search involving multiple agencies, they arrested Pyron when he returned to the residence where the disturbance had occurred. Bond was set at $100,000 for the Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and they denied a probation violation warrant.
