Woman Arrested For Shoplifting

Monday morning Paris Police responded to a shoplifting complaint in the 1800 block of Clarksville. Allegedly two black females took items from the store and then left in a gray Nissan with paper tags. Another officer located the vehicle in the 200 block of NW 10th. Police arrested Mary Bailey, 52, on an outstanding felony warrant for theft of property with previous convictions. Officers recovered the stolen property from the vehicle and charged Bailey with the second charge of theft of goods with prior convictions. Police placed another female in the car under arrest and charged her with misdemeanor theft.
