Woman Rescued From High Water Near Grant

A Choctaw County woman was rescued near Grant at about 3:30 Wednesday morning when her pickup got stranded in high water. Grant and Hugo Firefighters, Sheriff’s Deputies and a State Trooper all responded to the woman’s call for help. Officials say the water on the county road where the woman was pulled to safety was up to the windows of her pickup.
