State Troopers have released the person’s name killed in a collision on Hwy 82 near FM 38 in Lamar County. The preliminary investigation indicates that 48-year-old Laurie Chancellor crossed over the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. They transported the other vehicle’s driver to Paris Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
