Woman Mowing Airport Lawn Hit By Plane

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a woman mowing the lawn at Broken Bow Municipal Airport was struck and killed by an airplane that was landing. Troopers said when the pilot touched down, he saw a person on a lawnmower and attempted to pull up the plane, but it was too late, and the wings hit the woman on the lawnmower. They pronounced 27-year-old Samantha Hayes of Idabel at the scene.
