Woman Sentenced For East Texas Drug Trafficking

A woman caught trafficking five kilos of cocaine and 300 pounds of marijuana through East Texas to Tennessee has been sentenced in Federal Court in Texarkana. The court sentenced 38-year-old Lisa Marie Escamilla to 63 months in federal prison. She had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute controlled substances. Sulphur Springs attorney John Ginn represented her.
