Woman Sentenced For Scamming Disabled Man

A Northeast Texas woman has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for conning a disabled Bowie County man. 51 year old Karen May Paroline of Texarkana targeted an autistic man who had walked to a store in Hooks to buy a soda, and managed to empty his bank account before dropping him off later at a Walmart in Texarkana. Paroline had an extensive criminal history of felony convictions.
