Wood County Disaster Declaration

Wood County Judge Bryan Jeanes has issued a disaster declaration in the wake of the tornadoes and heavy rain last Friday night.  Authorities estimate the storms caused at least $500,000 in damage.  Issuing the declaration allows the county to take the next step to apply for state and federal assistance funds.
