A Wood County grand jury has indicted Courtney Keel, a native of Mineola and a Hainesville Volunteer Fire Fighter, with eight counts of arson. As a result, wood County Chief Robert Holland began investigating fires that the department worked. He thinks Keel possibly started fires that happened over 15 months, from the summer of 2020 to the fall of 2021. They were within two miles of Keel’s house, and there’s a video of him driving away from a fire in July 2020.
