Wood County Jail Administrator Under Investigation

Wood County Jail Administrator David McGee has resigned because of an investigation into alleged improper contact with a former inmate. The allegations were turned over to the Texas Rangers, and during the course of the investigation McGee was arrested on 2 counts of Tampering with Evidence.  He made bond and was released from jail. Records in the case have been sealed by the District Judge and no further information has been released.
