Wood County Man Dies In Van Zandt County Crash

One person is dead and several were hospitalized in undisclosed condition following a collision between a mini-van and an 18 wheeler in Van Zandt County. State Troopers say the driver of the mini-van, 28-year-old Joshua Ragsdale of Rockwall failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Hwy 64 and FM 314 and collided with the tractor trailer driven by 57 year old Thomas Petty of Royse City. A passenger in the van, 19-year-old Randy Whitley of Winnsboro was pronounced dead at the scene.
