Wood County Man Faces Federal Child Porn Charges

Bond is $255,000 for a Wood County man being held in the Gregg County Jail on multiple federal sex crime charges. Reportedly, 42-year-old Daniel Wayne McCormick, of Quitman, is also being held on a U.S. Marshal’s Detainer. The indictment lists ten counts of McCormick allegedly involved in explicit videotapes with children and transporting the videos across state lines.
