Wood County Mother Plea Bargains Capital Murder Charges

A Wood County mother charged with capital murder in the deaths of her 2 daughters has reached a plea bargain with prosecutors.  Daphne Elizabeth McDaniels of Quitman pleaded guilty to two counts of injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury and must serve 40 years in prison.  A man who dated McDaniels awaits trial for reckless endangerment to a child and tampering with evidence. The victims, 3 year old  Gabriella Guerrero and  1 year old Natalye Price were found dead in their apartment of massive blunt force injuries.
