Wood County Woman Sentenced For Burning Mother’s, Neighbor’s Homes

A Wood County woman has pleaded guilty to burning down her mother’s and a neighbor’s house in December. Thirty-year-old Amber McGehee, of Hawkins, was sentenced Wednesday to ten years’ probation. The court also ordered her to serve 320 days of community service and enroll in a GED program.
