Team Managers & League Officials:
Please contact your state director for further details regarding the 15U state program. This information provides all teams with an invitation to participate in the World Series for our 15U division. We have to date 100 total teams/48 leagues participating in 15U play within our eleven-state region this season. Due to the interest program-wide, some of our states will also offer a 15U division state tournament. The World Series could include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. At the very least, each state has 15U teams that we invite to play! The World Series will be July 21-23, 2021, in Sterlington, Louisiana.
We will utilize as many fields as needed to keep travel costs down for the participating teams. The tournament will start on Wednesday at 9:00 am (July 21) and conclude with the championship game slated for Friday at 6:00 pm on July 23, 2021! The exciting news is that the four traditional World Series events will begin to play simultaneously on July 23. The host is providing an exciting opening ceremony that will include the 15U World Series finalist. The Sports Complex in Sterlington has five regulation size baseball fields for tournament competitions. I have attached a short highlight video from the 2020 events through this link:
We expect the available tournament slots to fill quickly, and as such, we suggest you complete the attached entry form & send your $200.00 entry to our national office at the earliest date possible. We seed the top four teams in each state tournament into the World Series; however, all teams within the state may participate. We will close registration on July 10, 2021!
If you think you would be interested in participating, I would like to request that you send us a courtesy reply. You are not under any obligation at this time with your courtesy reply; however, your early commitment with certainly secure you a spot in the tournament. If you are not planning to play, please let us know also.
Your reply will allow us to prepare for the number of teams we might have for the 2021 World Series. We provide the entry form in both a PDF & EXCEL file! The completed bracket that we used in 2019 shows each participating team playing a minimum of three games. In 2021, all will play a minimum of three games.
The 2021 bracket will be completed and provided to participating teams once we can determine the exact number of teams that will enter our sixth annual 15U World Series. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me by email at jjones29@sw.rr.com.
