World Watching Russian Oil Situation

The world continues to watch oil prices rise since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. However, University of Houston energy economist Ed Hirs has researched the world oil market and says Russia could throw a wrench in oil prices if it closed off the daily seven million barrels they export. Hirs says if that happened, gasoline prices would likely double.
