Yantis Man Faces Multiple Felony Charges

Miguel Angel Mejia of Yantis was arrested Monday for Aggravated Assault with a Household Member with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Criminal Mischief valued at more than $2,500 but less than $30,000. He’s in the Hopkins County Jail. The incident allegedly ensued after Mejia caught his wife with another man at a residence on Hwy 154 south of Sulphur Springs. There were no injuries in the incident.
